mission overview

Banksy is going green…

Mission Gaia is a unique ‘Street Art Meets Nature’ creative workshop. Inspired by the work of artists such as Andy Goldsworthy, Anna Garfoth, Edina Tokodi, Jesse Graves and Strook, this mission brings together urban, graffiti and guerrilla art with foraged and natural materials. Working as a Collective of Artists, campers will research and experiment with techniques such as pigment making, moss graffiti, rock balancing, mud stencils, recycled installations and wood collages. Over the course of 5 days, each will develop a unique artwork, which will contribute to an exciting final graduation exhibition.

A CHALLENGING EXPLORATION OF NATURE ART AND VISUAL CREATIVITY WITH LOTS OF OPPORTUNITIES TO BE IMAGINATIVE AND INNOVATE.
