Calling all aspiring Adventure Filmmakers!
Are you ready to explore the London Jungle?

On this adventure filmmaking mission, you’ll discover how to shoot and edit an adventure movie, while mastering filmmaking and special effects techniques. You’ll develop a story idea with your production team, then turn that concept into a script and a shot-by-shot storyboard. You’ll get to experience the different roles involved in making an adventure movie: director, presenter, camera operator, producer, special effects technician and editor. You’ll discover creative camera angles and unique shots, then edit your original footage to create your very own adventure film!

At the end of the course, the children’s films will be uploaded onto The Hive’s private Youtube channel to share with family and friends. Click here to see films made on previous missions

The mission is led by Charlie-May Bingham. Before joining The Hive, Charlie-May was the National Young Reporter Coordinator for Into Film. Into Film is the British Film Institute’s Education Charity. Charlie-May’s role involved training and mentoring over 50 young film enthusiasts aged 5-19 in filmmaking, film reporting, film critiquing and film programming every year. She has worked with hundreds of children to devise, script, shoot and edit award-winning short films.
